Background and Credentials
As a Trauma Recovery and Trauma-Informed Coach, Jen is currently expanding her education by completing a master's in Psychology and Education from Columbia University's Spirituality Mind-Body Institute. This is the first Ivy League university to offer a program merging spirituality with evidence-based research through a clinical psychology lens.
Jen is also pursuing both a 2-year Healing Shame Practitioner Certification from the Center for Healing Shame in Berkeley, California, as well as a 3-year Somatic Experiencing Practitioner Certification through Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing International Program.
Jen has formed an amalgamation of beliefs in education, spirituality, research-backed methodologies, somatic work, and perhaps most importantly, following your personal intuition.
While much of her work is focused on healing and recovering from trauma, Jen fully believes that even with these experiences each of us is capable of leading meaningful lives.
After spending the last 15 years living in Portland, Oregon, in January 2022 moved to Cleveland, Ohio with her family where she can be found reading, journaling, or meeting up with an old friend for coffee or out on a nature trail.
